瑋哥部落格以戲謔手法諷斥周錫瑋利用省議員特權貸款在先，又拒不還款讓全民買單在後，以及無情無義，先後拋棄過國民黨、新黨與親民黨。結果這陣子不斷把言論自由掛在嘴上的泛藍陣營，經不起批評，經不起檢驗，具狀控告瑋哥部落格。
瑋哥部落格的內容雖然戲謔，但是對新聞事實的追求遠勝於習慣看圖說故事的「全民開講」，或是最近大幅報導陳哲男在韓國召妓，卻被蘋果日報發現根本是查證不實的「時報週刊」。

事實上，瑋哥部落格這種新聞評論的手法在美國非常普遍，也廣受歡迎，就連在台灣，大多在譏笑台灣派政治人物的「全民大悶鍋」也受到金鐘獎的肯定，難道在台灣，言論自由真的是特定政治立場的特權？

我最想不通的是，自己可以用「福小姐」爆料的周錫瑋，對於基於新聞事實的瑋哥部落格竟然不能容忍，寬以待己、嚴以待人、雙重標準到令人無法忍受的地步，還是縣長候選人就這麼囂張的公然打壓言論自由，這種人讓他取得權力還得了。

我在這裡呼籲大家支持瑋哥部落格，並且譴責雙重標準，打壓言論自由的周錫瑋，因為如果在這個時候你不站出來捍衛瑋哥部落格的言論自由，下一個被開刀的部落格可能就是你。

Yesterday I was browsing in a music store and accidentally found a DVD copy of PSB concert, named performance. It brought back a lots youth memories ( ya! as if I were very old now.. I am only 30ish). I was a very huge fan of PBS, so crazy that now I can't even understand why... I am still a fan but no longer madly in love with them. The craziest thing I did for PSB probably was going to their concert, the one DVD has it on, well!.. going to a concert is no big deal, what made it sound crazy was that it was a week before my MCAT, the medical school entrance test, I was supposed to study. not having fun.. I could have screwed my test and not able to get into a med school.. The test result was not what I expected, but thanks God it was good enough to let me become a med student... Another crazy thing was going to London for the weekend to see their concert again, the very same one..I really don't know what I was thinking then, it costed me a fortune, I had to work so many extra hours as a tutor to pay for the expense.

Now that I look it back, I don't regret doing thing like that, if I had time turned back, I would have done it again, for no particular reason, just to say "being there, done that, like every other crazy young man"

Last few days, I have received several emails from my oversea friends. Martin just passed the board exam, he sent me a very happy pic of himself, but later he sent me another email saying that he needs to find a job in 3 months, I just thought that our CRs are having better luck than he does, at least, our CRs don't need to find a new work place, they can just stay in the same hospital if they want to and become attending physicians. Wish Martin good luck on finding new job!
最近突然接二連三的收到外國友人的近況 在倫敦的Martin 通過英國的急診專科甄試 高興的不得了 寄了一漲非常高興的照片給我 我寫信恭喜他不久就要加薪了 結果他回函說 他可能要失業了 因為三個月內要找新的工作（雇主）他無法留在訓練的醫院 那裡沒有職缺 看來本科的CR很幸運 因為考完專科後 可以不用擔心找工作 可以留在醫院繼續服務 擔任主治醫師 只好祝福Martin早日找到工作了

Received email from Austria really made me happy, why? I was asked to consider a trip to Austria or Germany next year, this new friend I met in Vienna enjoyed my company and wish to travel together again. I would love to, especially travel in German speaking territory, it's gonna be different and fun with someone who can speak the local language.
收到奧地利認識的朋友email 心情很開心的 他問我有沒有計畫再到歐洲去 希望能有機會再一起旅行 建議是否考慮幕尼黑 因為他很熟 看了信後 心裡實在很心動 不懂的德語的我 到德語係國家 有當地人當地陪玩起來真的是很不一樣的 雖然幕尼黑已經去過 還是想看看跟當地人在一起有什麼新鮮的玩法

Finally Brian and Gianna are over in a good way, not what I expected but an ending I love to see, Brian is such a nice nice guy, he deserves a good girl, not those who can't appreciate a gentleman like him.
好友美國仔Brian終於跟Gianna有個了斷 而且是個好的了斷 有點讓我出乎意料之外 但是也很慶興是好聚好散 避免了很多尷尬的假想狀況 他真是一位超級好好先生 但是都遇人不淑 希望他能真的找到珍惜他的好女孩女人

This time , our monthly department dinner gathering was held in the Regent hotel. At the beginning, not a lots people showed up, the banquet room was quiet, people eventually came to the gathering one after one fashionably late. New faces appeared in this evening, including new first year resident who starts next month; Dr. Chen (Long bro)'s wife, and the son of our head nurse. The party turned out pretty good! 今天早上我沒有跟護士一起訂午餐便當 我說要自理 跟我一起實習的醫學生也決定自理 中午急診沒有新病患 我跟學生說 去吃午飯吧 他把外套穿上 正準備要到院外吃飯時 他突然問我 什麼時候休診？ 我一時搞不清楚他問我哪裡休診的時間 學生接著說 老師午餐自理 不是要到外面吃嗎？ 那不是（急診）要先關起來才能去 （急診內科只有我一位醫師上班）......... 原來休診是這麼一回事 我這才明白他的意思 我笑著回答說 急診是24小時不打烊的 我要自己找時間吃飯 而且是在急診室裡吃.............

Today I didn't order lunch box, neither the medical student. So at noon, I told student to go to eat. He put on his jacket, and then asked me when I will have a break for lunch? I wasn't quite sure what he meant by that at first, he then said, "Teacher, don't you close the ER so you can go out for lunch?" (I am the only physician in ER).............. Well! Now I understood what he meant, I laughed and told him that ED is open 24 hours, I have to find time to eat and only in the department..........

前幾天 下班後和T一起吃飯 聊著聊著 T說到要請我吃這頓飯 我覺得應該讓學長我出錢 不然底線應是各出各的 但是他突然說出一句話 讓我頓時感到非常感動

“這些年因為有學長的保護 沒有被人欺負 要謝謝學長“

其實一剛聽到這句話 我也一時搞不清楚狀況 他又接著說出原因 我才恍然大悟 原來是這麼一回事

上班時帶領著科裡的住院醫師和學弟妹討論科內事物協助處理問題和教學 並不是輕鬆的事 我會比較嚴謹 白話是兇了一點 也比較會碎碎念 其實我只是想要盡一份科內主治醫師/學長的責任 我並不期待學弟妹的感激 事實上他們只要不在背後嫌我囉唆我就要偷笑了

在美國念醫學院 接受住院醫師訓練的那段時間 那種學長用心帶學弟的好傳統 造就今天的我 我也因而告訴自己 自己要以身作則 要把這種好的精神傳承下去



Few days ago, I had dinner with a resident, At the end of dinner he said he wanted to pay for the meal. I though I should pay for it because I am an attending, or at least we split the bill. He then told me " You have been looking after me the past few years, so I am safe and sound, thank you. " I was so touched when I heard it.

At first I was not really sure what he meant when he said that, he later explained to me, and there was a reason behind it.

It is not a easy task to lead a group of residents and students at work, I mean discussing matters with them, solving difficult cases and teaching to them. I tend to be serious when I am at work, or fierce. I am nosy too sometimes. All I want is to fulfill my duty as an attending physician. I've never dared to dream of their appreciation, I would be happy if the don't bitch about me off work.

Being educated in the states, I was brought up and sharpened under the spirit of the senior staff looking after and teaching the young staff over there. I told myself, it is a good spirit and tradition to carry on.

前幾天 我用台語問病患 懶趴會痛嗎？ 事後護士美眉覺得我的台語很俗又有力 又有一次 我跟他們說 小便的台語不是“燒便“ 那是北京台語翻譯產生的 台語沒有所謂的小便 正確就是說尿 “ㄧㄡ“ 用台語問大號正不正常 用“逮便“也是很典型北京台語直接翻譯的話 事實上“棒賽“才是正統的台語 美眉們覺得"ㄧㄡ“和“賽“很粗俗 其實我一點都不覺得 因為現在很少人這樣說 久而久之 就變成非主流不雅的用詞 他們真的俗 不雅嗎？ 我覺得台語是很美麗的語言

另一個有趣且經典的就是 “大小便失禁“ 那台語要怎麼說ㄋ？謎底下次揭曉 有跟我上班的人都應該會聽過
